Companies with energy-intensive processes face the challenge of reducing their energy costs while also maintaining their operating performance. Accurate energy consumption forecasting is crucial to managing the energy flexibility measures that enable cost savings and operational optimizations to be made.

Investment and scope of services

The level of your investment depends to a large extent on the services required and the size of your company. As an entry-level solution, we recommend carrying out load forecasting at a price starting from 9,000 euros.

  • Implementation of a workshop to introduce and configure the forecasting model.

On this basis, we can then offer the following services:

  • Benchmarking of existing forecasting with IPA forecasts and challenging its accuracy.
  • Deployment of the forecasting model at the customer for specific offices or departments.
  • Visualization service to present and interpret the forecasting results.
     

 Procedure and expected results*

  1. Calculation of load forecasting based on historical data.
  2. Illustration of a cost function to model energy cost tariffs.
  3. Modeling of energy flexibility measures to simulate various measures.
  4.  Integration of an optimizer to optimize the use of measures.
  5. Interpretation of the simulation to evaluate savings potential.
