Modern production processes often neglect the user experience. Complex machinery, standardized workplaces and a strong focus on processes frequently lead to dissatisfied and unproductive employees. Our data-driven user needs assessment (UNA) uses a combination of eye tracking and interviews to identify how working processes and machinery can be adapted to the user in an optimal way.
Our approach offers a detailed user journey map that highlights critical vulnerabilities in working processes. We provide recommendations of specific actions to personalize and improve interaction with machinery. Small adaptations are often enough to achieve significant improvements in productivity and satisfaction among employees. Through our unique, human-centered and data-driven approach, we not only increase the attractiveness and acceptance of the workplace, but also generate a measurable unique selling point for your production process.
A data-driven UNA project takes 4 to 6 weeks to complete and costs around 15,000 euros to 30,000 euros, depending on the complexity. The scope of services comprises the integration of a specific issue and a final workshop with recommended actions and follow-up projects. Up to four tailored goals can also be developed.
We use eye-tracking technology and structured interviews to analyze how employees perceive their environment and interact with machinery. Camera-supported monitoring captures the user’s gestures and posture, while emotions such as confusion are detected so that any potential barriers in the working environment are identified. The final report contains detailed findings about the user journey and specific recommendations to improve interaction. This leads to a sustainable improvement in productivity and workplace satisfaction.
