MANUFUTURE Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda 2030

For a Competitive, Sustainable and Resilient European Manufacturing

The Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) describes the Manufacturing Research and Innovation Ecosystem in Europe and its unique characteristics. It presents an integrated strategy for linking basic science to applied research in Manufacturing, cutting across the different stages of research and development. It describes the most relevant Science and Technology Challenges: Adding value in the system of manufacturing, Horizontal and vertical integration, The Road to Circular Economy and Decentralised Technical Intelligence. In the main part it details the main research priorities within 10 Research and Innovation Priority Domains for successful European Manufacturing. The SRIA is completed with complementing Building Blocks for successful manufacturing: Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Education and Training and relevant cooperation with other Initiatives.
