Venture a look into the future of biointelligence with InBenBio! The InBenBio project researches the latest developments in the field of biointelligence in other countries, identifies lead markets and target countries and compares them with the framework conditions in Germany.

In this project, fluid-dynamic simulations were carried out on the 3D model of the fender of an AUDI vehicle. This also enabled problem areas such as electrostatic coatings in undercuts or dynamic pressure fields to be examined.

Influence of plastic additives on the coating adhesion for Attachment parts made of PP materials

The “PaintVisco” research project explores the relationships between the properties of liquid paint and the waviness of the films formed by the paints after curing. The knowledge gained will be used to specifically improve the flow characteristics of paint films and to reduce development costs.

In the research project “Development of 3D-printed, highly-integrative clamping templates for CFRP components”, a clamping template with integrated functions was designed as a prototype for finishing workpieces made of carbon fiber-reinforced plastics (CFRP).

The aim of the project was to characterise system parameters, raw material properties and properties of the cured coating films in order to generate a knowledge base for the optimal interaction of these parameters and to achieve good coating film properties with the still relatively new UV LED technology.
