At this year’s Automatica trade fair, the Fraunhofer IPA will be showcasing numerous solutions that – thanks in part to artificial intelligence (AI) – greatly simplify and accelerate the planning, programming, and training of robots. On display from June 24 to 27, 2025, in Hall A4, Booth 314.

Fraunhofer IAO, Fraunhofer IPA and the IAT of the University of Stuttgart are pooling their research expertise to set up the cross-institute Fraunhofer Lab “flaQship”. The lab focuses on applied quantum computing in Stuttgart and Heilbronn.

The European Robotics Forum (ERF) will take place in Stuttgart’s Liederhalle from March 25 to 27. Numerous partners, prominent guests, a wide-ranging program, and a major public engagement event free of charge on the afternoon of March 24 will turn Stuttgart into an outstanding meeting place for industry, science, and the public interested in the topics of robotics and AI.

An automated miniature mill for sensitive cell tissue enables the extraction of living cells from a tissue sample. The technology was developed at Fraunhofer IPA.
